Jesse runs at the VERY last minute from his wedding and moves from Chicago to New York. Moving into the building he and his brothers are renovating, he meets their new tenant Mya and the connection is instant. Mya's only ask is that he be honest with her - always. But Jesse has a hard time coming clean about why he left Chicago in the first place.
This was fast-paced and sexy - I can't wait to read more about the GD Taylors! I liked Jesse a lot but I think Spence will be my favorite - big fan of Old Solemn types. I love this kind of series. I think that the longer we read about this family the better the books will get! I hope Pen gets her own book, too!
As much as I loved Jesse and his family, I think I love Mya and her mom even more. Estella was something special, that's for sure!
If I hadn't noticed that there were two authors, I never would have guessed that this was written by two different people! The writing was seamless throughout the entire story.
