Arsinoe and Mirabella, having survived their journey across the sea, can't ignore the call of their island - one that leads them back Fennbirn and to Jules - who is leading a rebellion, and ready to claim the throne for her own.
I think my favorite thing about this world is its GIRL POWER! Everyone of importance is a woman. Every leadership role is given to a woman, and with today's society, I am ALL about that vibe.
While I still find the worldbuilding here to be pretty lackluster, the more time I spend with the characters the more drawn in I am, and this book has me excited to read the conclusion - I truly have NO clue how this story will end.
