Rhiannon is the creator of a popular dating app and has strict rules for her own dating life, one of which is no second chances for ghosting. Rhi is ghosted by Samson and months later finds herself face to face with him as co-panelists at a tech conference, during which he asks the question "What if the ghosting was done unintentionally?" Now Rhiannon has to hear him out for the sake of her job, and her future in the dating app industry.

Rhiannon is my favorite type of character these days - a total boss with a hesitancy to admit that she could use a little help every now and then. I keep picking up books that boil down to letting yourself be more vulnerable (maybe its a lesson I need to be reading about??).

I thought Rhi and Samson really understood each other and balanced each other well. Rhi knew she could count on Samson when it really mattered, and Samson knew when to back off and let Rhi handle things herself.

This book does deal with emotional abuse and trauma and I liked the way that conversation took place. I know we didn't really see any of the negative backlash from Rhi's story, as I'm sure there was plenty of that, but I think its important that we saw so much of the love and support from Rhi's circle of friends and family. We all know that victims get a ton of criticism for speaking out - we see it in the news often enough - so I loved that Alisha Rai focused on the positive and supportive side.
