The Set Up: The Overstory follows a group of people all connected in some way by their relationship with the natural world, specifically, trees.
WHEW. I wouldn’t classify this as an easy read at all, but it definitely stretched my brain and made me want to hug a tree. I thought I was getting into a book of short stories, but for me the book really took off when they all started to connect. This should probably be a must read for everyone given our world’s climate crisis.
