I didn't love this one as much as I loved The Friend Zone but this was still a great book and Abby Jimenez is definitely becoming one of my go-to authors.
I adored Sloan and Jason and how they met - their entire relationship beginning was so sweet and perfect. After The Friend Zone, I was wondering what was in store for Sloan and this was a perfect story for her.
Something I loved about this book was the songs at the start of each chapter - it was such a fun way to get into the character's heads and get the vibe they had in any given scene.
This book veers into almost over-the-top drama, which honestly shouldn't have been a surprise after The Friend Zone, but something about the Hollywood scandals was a bit much for me. BUT I'm still all-in on this series and I am already starting Life's Too Short!
