Taking place after the first three books (shiver, linger, and forever) sinner is the story of Isabel Culpepper and Cole St. Claire trying to navigate their new reality in Los Angeles. Their new reality being Isabel's parents' separation, the death of her brother, and Cole trying to record a new album while also being a sometimes-wolf.

I like this world and these werewolf rules so I was glad to have another book in the series, but this one is not my fave which is a shame because I love Isabel and Cole.

I'm not sure what I felt missing from this one, maybe MORE of Isabel and Cole together? It felt like two completely separate stories that only intertwined a few times. We get them together a bit in previous books but only little snippets - here in their own dedicated story it still felt like I didn't get enough of them.
