Another cozy and romantic story from Mimi Matthews! I think what she excels at is writing incredibly kind and good characters. Her heroes are always perfect, in my opinion. They're caring and noble and just generally swoony.
What made this book even more exciting was the fact that it's a second generation story. I love cameos and interconnected plots in an author's world, and so getting to see what became of The Work of Art and Gentleman Jim characters was lovely.
I can see the beginnings of (I think two) more stories from this world and I am eagerly awaiting those!
