Carter is an event planner living in NYC when he meets Prince Edgar, heir to the throne, through a work function. The two click immediately, but their incredibly different lives may be too much for them to overcome.

I had such high hopes for this one, and I won't' lie it kind of let me down. I could tell that Carter and Edgar liked each other but it didn't come across as enough of a spark to justify the direction of their relationship. I needed more to really get invested and root for the two of them.

I also wasn't such a big fan of Edgar. He didn't seem to have Carter's back on anything and so I found myself having a hard time seeing what Carter was holding on for.

I DID really like the extended cast. Carter's family was great, as well as his roommates and friends. Plus on Edgar's side, this version of the Queen was delightful, and I loved James as well.

Overall, I think I was expecting Red White & Royal Blue and it just didn't quite meet that for me.
