Jasmine Guillory 352 pages | Published by Berkley

Olivia has just moved to LA to start her law firm when she meets Max, a nice man at a hotel bar. They flirt but part ways before she realizes who Max is - Senator Max Powell. As they get closer, cautious and private Olivia realizes just what it means to date a politician and be in the public eye.

Jasmine Guillory is my romance queen. Every book she writes is so engaging and draws me in instantly. She always tackles issues that are bigger than just boy drama, but her books always feel light - escapism at its finest.

I've liked every character Guillory has given us - I think Max might be a favorite. The women she writes are always badass ladies that I want to be like and the men she writes are always dreamboats I want to be with.

The first time I picked up one of her books, it was on a whim because I thing needed something for the beach, and she has never let me down. This was another great summer read and an awesome addition to the world of The Wedding Date.
