The Set Up: Raine has been traveling around Europe busking, but finds herself stuck in Ireland after all her gear is stolen. While taking refuge in a quiet Irish pub, she meets the owner, Jack, who offers her a job coordinating entertainment and revamping the bar’s image. They promise to be the most professional coworkers, but their instant attraction and understanding of each other makes that easier said than done.

This book was all good vibes for me. Totally heartwarming and a great start to my 2024 reading. The plot was kind of the dream, right? Visit an Irish pub, meet the owner, fall in love? Sign me up. The book has the cozy and inviting atmosphere that you’d want out of a Irish pub.

Raine and Jack were so loveable! They seemed tailor made for each other, with the perfect give and take between their messy brains. SGR wrote this slow burn romance with so much care. So much of its focus was on ADHD and OCD, and it taught me a lot about what those thought processes can be like.

Thanks to Netgalley & Berkley for the advanced e-book!
