Isn't It Bromantic? (Bromance Book Club #4)

Lyssa Kay Adams

352 pages | Published by Berkley

Vlad is an NFL hockey player in Nashville, in a marriage of convenience with his childhood best friend Elena. After the disappearance of her father, Elena had needed a fresh start and a way out of Russia - so Vlad proposed. Now after six years, she's convinced she is a burden on him, and he is sure that his feelings for her are one-sided.

This was.... not my favorite. It was all just a little bit over the top for me. The Cheese Man? Kidnappings? I don't know. Even the romance fell a bit flat for me. I think I needed more tension between Elena and Vlad because I could see where they had a history and a deep connection but I didn't feel the spark like I have in the other Bromance books.

The book was still enjoyable - it had all my faves from the previous books and the boys are as loveable as ever. Would I re-read it, though? Probably not.
