Mae has spent every Christmas of her life at a cabin with a group of family friends, crushing on childhood friend Andrew. Now nearing 30, she's unhappy with her life and she asks the universe to show her what will make her happy. Suddenly she finds herself in a Groundhog Day situation - reliving the same vacation over and over until she can set herself on the right path.

Another great romance from Christina Lauren! I want to read more from their backlist year - they just really nail it with pacing and tone in my opinion. In a Holidaze would make a great holiday movie - just saying, I won't be surprised if in the next couple of years we see it on Netflix.

I liked Mae but I wish we knew more about her - it seemed like we got more descriptions of everyone else in the cabin but Mae. But I loved her and Andrew together - their inside jokes and easy banter was so sweet. I was also glad that Theo got some redemption and we weren't just left to believe that their lifelong friendship was gone.

I wasn't sure at first if I would like the time-loop aspect but it didn't really bother me, and I was actually kind of surprised it didn't happen more? I think there was probably room for one more time jump to up the pressure a bit more before the end.
