A Winter Wish by Emily Stone
368 pages | Published by Dell
The Set Up: Lexie’s been estranged from her father for over a decade, so she’s surprised that when he passes away he’s left her half of his thriving travel company. But the catch is that she and her new co-owner Theo must run the business for a year before they can decide it’s future. Lexie is ready to sell and take the money, while Theo wants to build on what her father started.
This was the perfect mix of romance and family drama! The book felt cozy and gentle despite actually taking place all over the world. It was just what I’ve come to expect from Emily Stone.
The flirty banter between Lexie and Theo was A+ and they had an undeniable chemistry right from the start. Their love story was so satisfying.
But while I of course love the romance, it was Lexie’s family dynamics that made this book for me. There’s so much here about grief, perspective, and forgiveness.
I love having Emily Stone’s books to look forward to at this time of the year, and this one is another winner!
